Motivation

So, what is this show really about, anyway? A bunch of cute guys killing people? Well, yes, that too. But if that's all we're watching to see then this corner of fandom should probably put some thought into getting counselling. Some of the killing is nicely cathartic to watch, but a lot of it is too angst-ridden to be much fun that way. Maybe we watch it for the angst then? But so few people enjoy angst that's too unresolved. So perhaps the real draw is the resolution itself.

Credits: The characters and storyline of Weiß Kreuz originated (mostly) with Koyasu Takehito; it should be substantially obvious that I am not he, nor am I part of Project Weiß. I acquirred the artbook images used on this page from Melody's Weiss Kreuz Shrine and Divided, and I heartily thank the keepers of both sites for making the images available for me to either chop up or paste together, which I did with all of these.
